I wanted to share with you all my new find this week! One of the ladies in my last Handlettering class mentioned that Michael's craft store had just expanded an entire section dedicated to lettering--so, of course, I had to check it out. I took a quick trip this last week and OH. MY. GOD. so many good things.
An entire section of Tombow brush pens individually sold. What?! Amazing.
But we all know about Tombow, that’s not what I’m here to share.
I’m here to talk about this amazing little set of brush pens I came across in that aisle that I was SO surprised by.
They’re made by Kelly Creates and this is why they are great: first of all, the come in three different nib sizes. With all these sizes you can create all kinds of letters with different widths. Number two, the ink flows SO well out of the felt nib. I’ve used pens before with really soft nibs that were hard to control, and other pens with really hard nibs that take a lot of pressure to get right--this one is like the third bowl of porridge in the three little bears...just right.
So do yourself a favor, go spend $6.00 at Michael’s this weekend and get yourself a set of these pens. If you hate them, you can yell at me.
Here's the link at Michael's
Xoxo,
Millie
