Let's face it, not everyone has time to become a master hand-letterer, and even I appreciate a good lettered font every now and then. So here's a few of my favorites, all for free, all online, to give you that classic lettered look without any of the effort.

LEMON TUESDAY

One of my all time favorites. I love the brush lettered look and the imperfectness of this one. You can download it here.

MELLONY DRY BRUSH

Again, I love a good imperfect brush font. This one, with its tall ascending letters and bouncing baseline, feels a little more classy and fun. Download it here.

MARMALADE

Eeeee! When I found this one online, my heart did a little skip. I'm a huge fan of the mono-line calligraphy we keep seeing everywhere, and Marmalade is the perfect simple, clean addition to any design. Download it here.

LAUREN

Last, but certainly not least, is a more standard brush font. This is what we think of when we think hand-lettering, and it always does the job. I love Lauren because this font has those little extra finishes on the start and end of each word--which adds a finished look. Download it here.

And that's that! Whenever I need a quick addition to a design or I'm making some quick facebook ads or instagram posts, my go-to is always one of these four fonts. I hope you like them as much as I do!

P.S.--to install them on your Mac, just download the files, unzip the package, and click on the .ttf or .otf file--your fontbook should open and prompt you to install! Happy downloading!
