Billboard Design: 4 Degrees Real Estate

This was such a fun project! I designed the billboards for a local real estate company called 4 Degrees Real Estate. They are a rapidly growing modern real estate, management and investment business located here in Spokane. I have been designing marketing materials, graphics and documents for them for a while now, so when they asked me to do their billboards I was so excited!

WHAT SERVICES DID YOU OFFER?

I’ve been working with 4degrees for a year now. What started out as a one-off project for some mural decals for their interior walls turned into a great client relationship, and one of my favorites to date.

I worked together with their team to come up with template designs for their business cards, email signatures, email newsletters, for sale signs, and stationery for each realtor that comes onto the team. Besides the day-to-day design that their team needs, we worked together on creating a set of billboards to be displayed in Spokane--featured here.

WHO WAS THE TARGET AUDIENCE?

We wanted a design that would appeal to homeowners, buyers and help establish 4 Degrees as an authority here in the area.

WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION AND NEEDS OF THE CLIENT?

The client wanted something that was completely different than all of the other real estate billboards in town. Something that called attention to their brand, and peaked the interest of potential homebuyers and the general community. They are a young and modern company and we wanted to billboards to show that!

HOW DID THE FINAL DESIGN MEET THEIR NEEDS?

We kept the background white, which created a great contrast and a very “loud” design. The simplicity of using just the typography and no other imagery kept the design very clean and simple.
